Playing catch up a bit this last week thanks to another heavy cold which is now gradually leaving me so it's all been about Epic ACW's. Had a varnish session yesterday and cleared the decks of my painting desk as I like to do for the start of another weeks painting. The unbased strips are for the planned big Gettysburg game in New Zealand in July being staged by Chris who will be basing these himself and adding flags. The commission is for 44 x 60 figure infantry regiments using additional metal Warlord command strips plus associated artillery etc. The ready based guys are for Noel and they will be heading off this week. Noel has also requested additional command bases so that he can vary the size of the units. That's Brigade box number 3 so far plus the command with more to follow.
I'm sure both guys are gonna be really happy with these figures Lee!
ReplyDeleteI do my best Ray :)
DeleteLee, that's 2,640 figures how can you do that? I am in awe!
ReplyDeleteI have settled in to a nice routine now Ian and paint in mutually agreed monthly batches so for Chris in NZ it's around 300 figure per month! These 2,640 infantry (plus artillery batteries) are adding to an existing collection :) Gettysburg in July is the target!
Delete44 units of 60 figures each… Wow, that’s a whole lotta toys. Still, who wouldn’t want that many? Or more 😉
ReplyDeleteI can only assume it’s a big, big table - and that someone has long arms.
Did you manage to get in your 3mm game of DBA last weekend? If so, it’d be nice to see pics. When you have the spare time of course.
Cheers,
Geoff
You’re a one man epic factory. I really like the look of those confederates.
