I make no apology for the frequency of posts recently as it really helps me with motivation and keeps the blog ticking over with what I hope is interesting content.
12 Strelets cavalry painted as Hanoverian Liebgarde as per supplied reference plate. These are of course for Old John. Today I have 12 Minifigs Ottoman archers undercoated, these seem to weigh a ton after the plastics but they do feel as though cast in a particularly heavy alloy?
No apology required - I enjoy seeing these armies march off your painting bench at a rate that can't fail to impress.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rob. I'm pretty much flat out at them moment and enjoying it, so for as long as it lasts I'll keep on painting :)
DeleteYet again you’re really doing these plastic figures proud. The unit looks very good. John must be a happy man
ReplyDeleteThanks Graham. Great figures and at £8.00 for 12 cavalry figures they represent unbeatable value! John's feedback is what has kept me painting for him for over 10 years now :)
DeleteRapid and splendid looking Hanoverians!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Cheers Iain, yes I'm having a good bash at the moment :)
DeleteThink it's been more than 10 years !!! and very happy and appreciative of all results, the Strelets figures look fantastic and hopefully they will appear in a fun game later this month facing Ottomans, with many of other figures done by you, it's been a long time since i've had a game, think my pal will spend most of the time drooling over the figures, once again many thanks
ReplyDeletecheers Old John
I think it's my turn to say "stunning" 'Lee!
ReplyDeleteThose are just fantastic!
All the best

Gorgeous again Lee. Strelets' new 18th century range is a delight and you have made them 'sing'. I really like your shading and detail that is perfect for wargaming units. Lucky John!
