  1. Minifigs no longer come in those boxes, just plastic bags....:-(
Rather like Hinchliffe no longer come in their square blue boxes....
From what I remember, Dick Higgs sculpted using a soldering iron.....
As I've got older, I've started going back to older figures, for the last few years plastic Spencer Smiths, Roco Minitanks and more latterly Hinchliffe, Rafm and Pax Britannica / RSM.

  2. I have many Minifigs figures that I bought in the 1970's. They were easier to paint than Hinchliffe and in some cases better castings.

  3. Thanks for the video Lee - I’ve left a comment on YouTube. Like many other “oldies” I also have started to pick up some minis from my youth. Last lot were Garrison and Lamming, before that metal Spencer Smith c18th infantry.
    Cheers,

  5. I enjoyed your video Lee. When I first bought Minifigs they came in a sturdy plain box packed out with sawdust and nothing ever arrived broken - can't say the same about Hinton Hunt!
