Leo Baron - for whom I am currently painting through the 'Hannibal Barcas Army' box set - sent me these photos of his superb Waterloo game using Epic miniatures in vast numbers so with his permission I share them here. I think they say it all about why the Warlord Games Epic concept has taken the hobby by storm, they look like real armies, big battalions, affordable models and designed for ease of painting. Leo tells me there are even some of my figures in there somewhere, painted a few years ago now as I recall.
At this stage of the game the Imperial Guard and Prussians were not on the table!
Great looking game, that printed mat is very effective.
ReplyDeleteRob, the mat is 15' x 6' !
Delete15' x 5' .
DeleteTruly Epic!
ReplyDeleteI saw a show report yesterday from Colours at Newbury and a group had put on a big Hannibal game …. Cannae in all of its glory!
Hi Norm, yes I saw that report too, very impressive! Leo's game featured over 10,000 figures on the 15' long table!
DeleteCheers,
Lee.

ReplyDeleteFlyXwire, I can't seem to get my email address re verified on TMP for some reason but you are welcome to share this link below if you wish? Leo tells me there are in excess of 10,000 minis on the 15' long table!
