We will be renting a house for the first year in Rochester Kent (not far from Posties Rejects I believe), to be close to family and will then decide where we want to go after that. Hope to meet some of you in the New Year when I get to attend some shows again, which I'm really looking forward to.
Started back in 2010 as a therapy for my Dysthymia. Currently painting mostly on commission.

Packing up day for the figures.
Everything is now boxed up for the journey home on Monday morning. I bought several large and strong boxes and simply added a blob of PVA glue to the bottom of each base so everything is securely stuck down but will be easy to remove with a sharp knife later. Fingers crossed for no breakages. Made a quick video of them all before they went in the boxes.

Hi Lee,
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with the move old chap! You will be handily placed for the Sittingbourne show in June as well! Have a safe journey and I hope everything arrives in one piece and at the correct address!
All the best,
DC
Thanks David :) The figures are travelling in my car boot so they won't be out of my sight! Long 18 hour drive shared with my Daughter, the dog and cat, it's going to be an interesting journey!
DeleteSafe travels.Hope you'll be able to recognize the home country when you get there.
ReplyDeleteJust done a 36 hrs round trip back to UK with all our goods and chattels. Thought about your progress a couple of times on the way. Operation Dynamo now complete for us but I'm ruddy knackerred! Hope your move goes smoothly mate and that all your toys make it back to blighty in one piece!
ReplyDeleteHave a good and smooth journey and as soon as you are home .... get down to the chippy! :-)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your move and the Napoleonic armies look absolutely splendid displayed all together.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with the move! Fingers crossed for no breakages, Rochester is nice and they have got a good wargame shop, just the place for impulse buys!
