Inspired by the wonderful work of the 'jpwargaming' channel on YouTube (link below) I have been tempted into the world of 1/72nd plastics, starting with a 12 element Austrian Napoleonic army for DBN. It's just a small scale/part time Summer project to see where it goes. My new video explains all:
And do check out the jpwargaming video that got me started on this!
Excellent project, with a lovely bit of nostalgia, very much enjoyed JP’s video and interested to see many of the poses used that I may have cast to one side, but they look great grouped.
ReplyDeleteThanks again Norm, I have watched the 'jp' video many times over now picking out the figures and poses he has used!

Good on you getting into the 'one true scale' Lee, hahaha!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes, James
The plastic sets are wonderful figures James and I'm going to enjoy working in the scale.

Lee.
I just popped this comment on the video too, but I found the ideal colour for Austrian white was Vallejo Model Colour Cream White. Its a reasonable match with the uniforms in the museum in Vienna and works in scale for 20mm.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this Jeffers, I do have the Vallejo Cream White so I'll give it a go!

Lee.
