Robo - Painter!

Stop laughing at the back there! - my wife was in stiches last night when I first tried them on - but I had been looking into (pun intended) investing in an Optivisor headset when I saw these fairly cheap (£25.00) magnifiers on Amazon so thought I would try a pair first and to be fair they work really well. They come with a selection of clip in magnifications and LED lights which are adjustable to different settings. I am experimenting today with the x3 glass fitted which certainly brings out all the detail of straps and faces etc. I want to see how the hand/brush/eye co ordination works for me and I will report back in due course.

  1. I am interested to read more on how these work out for. Aging eyes want to know.

  3. Fantastic Lee - I am very impressed. I shall investigate these further.

One word of warning from my own dabblings with a x2.5 jeweller's optical loop - do remember to remove them before you visit the bathroom...

    1. Works very well Tony and no issue with the hand/eye co ordination, just the same but everything bigger!

I'll heed your warning but could be useful :) To quote the great Alan Bennett ' As one gets older ones Ears get larger and ones Dick gets smaller'

      Cheers mate,
      Lee.

  6. Love it Lee. I had something similar once but I couldn’t take to it. Hope you get on okay with it though.
