Something different - Ski Corps 1711 to 1717!
Among the latest batch of painting for Old John are these three lovely 20mm conversions representing Ski Troops. I just had to share them here as they are so unusual!
Described by John as 'Les Higgins/Airfix conversions'.
Absolutely marvellous work. Beautiful work filmed with charm. Can we hear a little more about the conversions? Finally is Old John still selling his 20mm figures? If so how do I contact him? Alan Tradgardland
these are Norwegian in Danish service in GNW, i used Les Higgins figures with head conversion, fur caps , and added skis from an Airfix set as well as adding a spare musket to back of one figure, i had an illustration from from a website many years ago , possibly from the late Dan SCHORR, can't recall exactly, they look great many thanks Lee cheers Old John
