The breeches have been repainted off white now, as you say we have can manipulate history a little for the sake of our model soldiers appearance!'Lee.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02728400013024811279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2182231306997961847.post-18508951867007910732018-10-09T09:31:04.338-07:002018-10-09T09:31:04.338-07:00Nice looking heavies, there is something about a bi...Nice looking heavies, there is something about a bicorne! Unlike those worn by the Kings German Legion heavies who wore bicornes fitted with chin scales, the British dragoons could wear them at jaunty angles which makes for a nice varied unit. I'm still tempted to re paint the breeches off white and those blanket rolls red as so often depicted, I'll try it on the next four and see how they look.'Lee.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02728400013024811279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2182231306997961847.post-26349954042743355532018-10-07T15:16:17.278-07:002018-10-07T15:16:17.278-07:00I do like bicorne cavalry, any bicorne troops actu...I do like bicorne cavalry, any bicorne troops actually, main reason I tended to do French Rev rather than Napoleonic. Anyway, these look good, I would probably have gone for white breeches for the flash but I highly doubt they were worn on campaign and these blue grey oeralls look good.
