The figures are based on 28mm scale bases, 20mm wide, so the footprint of the battalions is not that large, just the vertical scale.'Lee.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02728400013024811279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2182231306997961847.post-46883658333774885552019-02-24T01:45:07.185-08:002019-02-24T01:45:07.185-08:00Thanks Steve. But I will attempt to scratchbuild a couple of (underscale) Spanish style building to begin with as I have the materials and the time on my hands to do so. I have a cunning idea for the distinctive rook tiles.'Lee.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02728400013024811279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2182231306997961847.post-71844894665419479152019-02-24T01:39:19.387-08:002019-02-24T01:39:19.387-08:00Thank you Chasseur :)Thank you Chasseur :)'Lee.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02728400013024811279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2182231306997961847.post-24978841114816195162019-02-22T06:54:40.025-08:002019-02-22T06:54:40.025-08:00Great looking force and I echo Norms call that 28m...Great looking force and I echo Norms call that 28mm terrain might well be the way to go, otherwise it will be enormous!<br />Best Iaincaveadsum1471https://www.blogger.com/profile/02174163740406928172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2182231306997961847.post-85896873962348578112019-02-20T04:58:12.152-08:002019-02-20T04:58:12.152-08:00Lovely... must be time for the Old Guard to appea...Lovely... must be time for the Old Guard to appear?! :o)Steve-the-Wargamerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07077311120172727690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2182231306997961847.post-54385397567088140042019-02-20T02:49:58.007-08:002019-02-20T02:49:58.007-08:00Really lovely and a good idea to have the parade v...Really lovely and a good idea to have the parade video’d :-) a Swiss battalion would add a lovely splash to all of that. <br /><br />As for buildings, as lovely as the big stuff looks, I wonder whether the thought of dropping a scale (i.e. 28mm buildings) would be the most functional, both from footprint and availability considerations. I have some 28’s and have been collection some 20mm (1/72) resin buildings for the reasons outlined.Normhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05031444717952755557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2182231306997961847.post-44038556494614784252019-02-20T02:39:56.051-08:002019-02-20T02:39:56.051-08:00Very impressive! :)Very impressive! :)Chasseurhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04919997382932080898noreply@blogger.com
