Steve: the mat is a Citadel ...Thank you chaps :-) <br /><br />Steve: the mat is a Citadel battlemat and I've just got another one to make more hill hex's from. Hex size is 90mm flat to flat, so my 60 x 60mm bases fit comfortably. I made a single accurate thick card template then spent a couple of enjoyable evenings marking out the hex points in yellow paint! Took patience but it actually turned out OK. Not all 100% accurate I have to say on the dots but it makes no difference overall, works just fine.
